Chief Executive Officer
Greg Daily comes to Relay2, Inc. with more than 25 years of management and executive experience, including leading private and public companies, strategy development, P&L, and executive sales management.
Before Relay2, Greg was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Stoke, a mobile security and gateway provider, where he led the company’s international expansion. Prior to Stoke, he worked as a strategic advisor to private equity and venture capital firms in the technology sector. Greg was also President of Alvarion Ltd., a $250 million wireless broadband company, and. President and CEO of Pedestal Networks, where he led the company from the release of its initial products through revenue growth and the company’s acquisition. Previously, during a ten-year tenure at ADC Telecommunications, he served in executive management positions including General Manager of Loop Transport Products division and Group Vice-President of North American Sales. Early in his career, Greg held various management positions with AT&T.
Greg holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Founder & CTO
As Relay2’s Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Eric is responsible for leading the company’s product development and technology solutions to support business strategy.
He founded Relay2 in 2011 with the vision of the next generation cloud controller as a platform. He was the CEO until 2013 and has led the company from its birth through the early stages. Prior to Relay2, Eric was a senior member of the CTO Office at Nokia Networks Systems and was granted one US and International patent during his tenure at Nokia. Previously, he was a senior software engineering manager at Asus Computer International, Tahoe Networks, and Cisco Systems, Inc.
Eric holds a B.S. degree from National Taiwan University as well as an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
As Senior Vice President of worldwide sales, Mark Skurla is responsible for the development and execution of the strategy for driving worldwide sales of Relay2’s unique next-generation wireless Service Delivery Platform.
Mark brings more than 30 years of sales leadership experience in the networking and telecommunications industry including serving as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Westell Technologies, Inc., and Vice President of Sales, Service Provider Business Unit, for Netgear, Inc. He has also held Vice President of Sales positions with Visual Networks, Copper Mountain Networks, Oresis Communications, and ADC Telecommunications.
Mark earned a B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Delaware.
Director of Business Development
Jay Ryu heads business and corporate development at Relay2. He is responsible for the company’s strategic partnering and fundraising activities.
Before joining Relay2, Jay was a Director at Draper Athena, a venture capital firm that made early investments in Relay2. Jay has worked closely with the Relay2 team since 2011, first as an investor and board observer while at Draper Athena ahead of joining the company full time in 2015.
Jay earned his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. While at Stanford, he also completed a multidisciplinary M.S. degree focused on energy and smart city infrastructure. Jay completed his undergraduate studies at Berkeley, where he earned his B.A. in architecture.
Director of Product Marketing
As Director of product management, Richard Shao leads Relay2’s product platform strategy and roadmap to support company vision and drive business growth.
Richard Shao brings in rich product management experiences and technology expertise from his multiple senior product management roles at Cisco. In those roles, Richard led product strategy and execution of multiple product lines. He also brought several new, innovative products to markets spanning networking and security technologies and segments that include service provider, enterprise, commercial, SMB, and public sector. He also served as a business lead for his product portfolio where he spearheaded overall business strategy and operations, including GTM, technology partnership development, and ODM/JDM management.
Richard holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Directof of Marketing & Strategy
Keith leads marketing for Relay2. He is responsible for the company’s global brand, market positioning, communications, and sales enablement efforts.
Keith brings deep industry knowledge with over 15 years of experience in wireless. Prior to joining Relay2, Keith served as Director of Technical Marketing at IPWireless, which was acquired by General Dynamics in 2012. He was also a system engineer at Boeing Satellite Systems.
Keith holds an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Keith also earned a Masters and B.S. in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
